Parking on site
On event day there is free all-day parking on site at the Sydney International Regatta Centre.
Please note that it is an approximate 10 minute walk from the carpark across to the Island where the registration / start area is located. If any spectators are unable to walk the distance over to the island, there are spectator vantage points on the Southern Bank adjacent to the carparks you are welcome to watch from. There will also be an internal shuttle bus available to connect you to and from the Island. Spectators and athletes are able to use this.
Public transport
The closest train station to the Sydney International Regatta Centre is Penrith Station which is approximately 6km from the venue.
There are no current regular bus routes that connect the venue directly with the station, so our kind event sponsors Quest Penrith will be running a free 10 seat mini-shuttle bus service that picks up and drops off from the Northern Exit of Penrith station right outside their front entrance.
The shuttle is accessible and will operate on a loop from 5am until 2pm (last trip from Regatta Centre to Quest around 1:35). Please note that in peak times there may be a wait for this service, so allow plenty of time just in case. If you think this may affect your chance of arriving in time for your race, please consider a taxi or rideshare service from the station. These services are generally plentiful in the area.
If you are not a local, why not avoid traffic stress before the day and stay the night at Quest Penrith. To stay the night prior to the event and/or the night after to recover, you can book a Studio Apartment, a One Bedroom Apartment or a Two Bedroom Apartment.

Taxis / Rideshare
Being a major transport hub, you will be able to utilise taxi / rideshare services between Penrith Station and the venue.
Just have them drop off / pick up at Sydney International Regatta Centre on Old Castlereagh Road. Gate B is the one you will need to enter on the day.
