WESTERN SYDNEY MARATHON UPDATE

The team are currently hard at work planning for a Sunday 26 June, 2022 event date for the Western Sydney Marathon after the disappointment of having to cancel both 2020 and 2021 event due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The Venue has sustained damage in the recent flooding and ongoing rainfall in Western Sydney. Damage to the paths occurred and an outbreak of Blue Green Algae that has forced the closure of the venue for a number of weeks. After receiving health advice that our on land activity will be able to proceed, we have opened up registrations and continue our planning to ensure we can run a safe event for all.

You can register for the event now HERE.

Please bear with us as we re-build the FAQ page, and finalise the course design around the damage to the venue. We anticipate using the course designed for the 2021 event, as the damage is in similar locations.

In September 2021 we completed the process of refunding the race entry fee to participants registered in the cancelled 2020 & 2021 events. For those who elected to carry over registration, or had a complimentary entry, you will be e-mailed a unique code by Wednesday 4th May with information on how to complete this action. If you have not received by this date, please get in touch. Please don't register until you have received your code.
